HP LaserJet Spares Overview

It is inevitable that your faithful LaserJet will wear over time and suffer reliability and print quality problems - to overcome this HP provide maintenance kits. Unique to each model they provide all the parts necessary to give your printer a new lease of life. A typical kit will contain a new fuser unit, transfer roller and paper path components.

Are you constantly dealing with paper jams? Or is your printer determined to pull in more than one sheet of paper at a time? Perhaps it's time to put an end to the frustration. Paper Feed Repair Kits contain replacements for worn components commonly known to cause these problems. Instructions are NOT included.

If your HP LaserJet repeatedly reports "50 Service Error" even after switching it off and letting it cool down for 20 minutes or more, the chances are you need a new fuser unit. This assembly contains the heat and pressure rollers that "fuse" the toner onto the paper.

Some HP LaserJet printers do not use a complete fuser unit as a single assembly. For these printers individual components must be purchased (heater assemblies, films and rollers). Fuser "films" or sleeves are also available for many HP LaserJet printers. These may offer a low cost alternative to replacing the whole fuser assembly but additional engineering skills and knowledge will be required.

If you think it's just a few feed rollers and the odd separation pad you need to cure your paper feed problems then these are available too. Be careful to order the correct quantity for your particular printer.

However, if you're unsure and feel a major overhaul of your LaserJet paper feed mechanism is required you may find a "Paper Feed Repair Kit" a more appropriate and safer option.

If you want reliable, trouble-free printing, sharp, well-defined graphics and text with consistent black and vibrant colour, then use consumables designed by the manufacturer for your printer - HP originals. If you're a high volume user choose "high yield" cartridges wherever possible to enjoy a lower cost-per-page and fewer cartridge changes.
